To start Aste Nagusia in Bilbao, the most special week of the year and the biggest festival in the world, we need three people: Mari Jaia, the town crier, and the txupinera.
s a representative of popular festivals, the latter marks the start of the festival and turns the txupin into a call for celebration and revelry.
The txupinera is the representative of the groups and deserved her own song, don’t you think?
With great pleasure and excitement, we present to you the txupinera’s song. I have worked with a great team to prepare this song, and wonderful women have lent their voices to it. Among them, this year’s town crier, Aiora Renteria.
Enjoy and make the song your own!

Erramunen soinua is a publication by the Bizkaia Trikitixa Association aimed at children, composed of books and discs. In the story written by Unai Elorriaga, through the anecdotes of some eccentric characters, the ins and outs of the trikitixa are explained: where it comes from, how it is played, what rhythms are used, etc.
This work has two main objectives: to promote the trikitixa and support its teaching; and to provide material for children, something that has been done very little until now.
This work is composed of books and discs in which you can find stories, songs, lyrics, and scores (with notes aimed at students).
